Editing your photos adds the final polish to an image, and it is a rare image which can not be improved by some image processing. However, Photoshop and Lightroom, the industry standards, have a steep learning curve. I explain the fundamentals of editing, which can be applied to any editing software, but also explain how to use Lightroom and Photoshop to create the best workflow for editing, which is something even seasoned users do not understand.
